Dracula's Castle Fanmade Remake (Alpha 2)

This is a remake of a game by Dave Microwaves Games. It is an action horror game known as Dracula's Castle. Wow, this took an extremely long time to make but I finally released alpha 2. This version contains twice as much content as the last version with 2 new floors to explore, resulting in 4 floors overall. I would consider this to have a full early game as well as a little mid-game. I have also implemented a new mechanic: the silver stake. This is a more powerful version of the regular stake that deals twice as much damage and can pierce through up to 3 enemies, making it extremely good at defeating big groups of enemies. There are about 45 minutes of gameplay depending on skill level.

Install instructions
-Right-click the .zip file and select "extract all" and extract to your desired place
-Open the "DraculasCastleAlpha2" folder
-Double-click DraculasCastleFanMade.exe

Finally got around to trying out this alpha. I enjoyed it a ton!
Felt like I was playing through something I would've made back then. The cutscene for Dracula was a nice touch, giving him more of a spotlight and character development throughout the game's story. Loved the sound design and music for the original floors, and I gotta say, the puzzles like the A,B,C orb one was very clever.
Excited to see what you do for the next alpha build, this has been a treat to play through.

Glad you liked it! I really made an effort to make it feel like the OG. And in regards to the project files, that was actually an accident and I'll probably put them in a .pak file in the future for a smaller file size.
Just finished playing it and it was really fun. I loved the cult leader bert level and that part where you're in the basement and you have to collect the orbs while that monster was wandering around actually felt kinda spooky lol. Good game.
